On the morning of May 7, the 80,000-ton general dry cargo ship (M2469-3) constructed by Xiamen Shipbuilding Industry under Fujian Shipbuilding commenced smoothly.
The vessel has an overall length of 229.95 meters, a molded breadth of 32.26 meters, and a molded depth of 21.00 meters, with a design draft of 10.00 meters and a structural draft of 14.50 meters. Its optimized hull form lays a solid foundation for achieving efficient navigation performance and economy. The heart of the ship is a MAN B&W 6S60ME-C10.5 main engine, integrated with a High-Pressure Selective Catalytic Reduction system (HP-SCR) and an exhaust gas scrubber, ensuring compliance with the International Maritime Organization (IMO) Tier III emission standards.
